ABOUT ME!
Hi, my name is Jordan and I am an aspiring teacher. I am currently majoring in psychology and minoring in child development and education at Florida State. I am excited to graduate and attend graduate school to earn my Master's in Education. I hope to one day begin my career in Atlanta, Georgia.
When I was in elementary school, I remember taking a class dedicated to typing. It was then when my interest in technology began. Throughout my schooling, I have had to use different Microsoft applications and other online programs, such as Prezi, Google docs, etc. I believe that all these different applications have made my learning more efficient.
I am excited to learn more about the different applications and how it will enhance my future students learning, and my own. I hope to use the different skills to help plan, deliver instructions to my future students, and connect me with other educators. I am eager to learn about different platforms and how they will be beneficial to me and my peers. I believe that this class will enhance my skills and make me a better teacher.
Welcome to EME2040! I think it's wonderful that you want to pursue a Master's in Education. We will cover many software tools and integration ideas that will help you in your future career as a teacher.

ReplyDeleteHi Jordan! I want to become a teacher as well and I think technology can be a really good tool to support your instruction. I can only talk about German schools but there technology isn't really used much in the classroom which is really sad. So hopefully we learn some skills in this class that we can use for our teaching in the future!
